I have been blessed to have traveled the world over, but unequivocally, nothing compares to Iceland. That is why, as The Wandering Toucan, I wanted to start my journey of blogging and reminiscing and creating for travel purposes right here. I wanted to begin with purely Icelandic posts to show a sort of reverence and appreciation to the place that I can honestly call my favorite on the whole planet. It’s hard for me to imagine that one day I’ll find anything more magical and stunning than this wondrous country and all the scenery it has to offer.
But, that being said, I have not only visited Iceland, but also a whole host of different places. In the past decade, I’ve probably been to over 20 different countries and experienced what each has to offer. And my own country, the United States of America, isn’t exactly boring. There is so much I want to talk about here on the blog, and so many places left to explore, so while the Icelandic Series was extremely fun, it’s time to move onwards to another location and another set of awesome travel stories!
Starting next week, I’ll be posting on Tuesdays and Thursdays very consistently (even religiously) and we’ll talk about all the great places that I’ve seen in the world and what you should and shouldn’t do in each! Can’t wait to see you guys there!
Thanks for hanging with me along the way! I appreciate, very deeply, everyone who reads the blog. It makes me extremely happy to share my experiences with you all on a weekly basis.
Here’s to more Wandering!
